Medical Dermatology

At New Bloom Dermatology, we endeavor to provide comprehensive dermatological care to help individuals achieve healthy skin and look their best. Healthy skin is the product of genetics and environmental factors. Our board-certified dermatologists take the time to understand each individuals’ personal history and lifestyle while formulating a plan to promote healing. While topical and oral medications can help reduce the symptoms, we also discuss preventative measures to promote a healthy lifestyle.

A majority of dermatology conditions are either inflammatory lesions or growths. Inflammatory lesions can persist without the correct diagnosis and understanding the risk factors. A majority of growths in dermatology are benign. However, there are some cancerous growths that can spread locally or to the rest of the body. We recommend yearly skin cancer screenings to monitor and diagnose any suspicious lesions and discuss preventative measures to reduce the risk of skin cancers.

We have provided a summary of the most common conditions seen at our office to help patients understand our approach to dermatology care. While this summary provides a window to our care, it cannot serve as a substitute for an in-person consultation. For the best outcome, we recommend making an office appointment to understand the medical history, diagnose the condition, and create a personalized treatment plan.
